Summer Internship Qualification

• To join this, students need to have B.Tech./ BE/ B.Sc.(Engg.)/ M.Sc./ M.Sc. (Tech.) / ME / M. Tech / MCA degree.
• The student must have obtained a degree from any recognized institution in India.
• This is only for Indian students. Only Indian students can participate in this.
• In this, students will have to be present for at least 3 months.
• Postgraduate and undergraduate students who wish to receive a summer training or internship of at least six weeks to eight weeks.
• Candidates had to score at least 65% in the qualifying examination (from the first semester to the last semester)
• They had to study mathematics up to class 12th. The best candidates will know how to use Remote Sensing, GPS, and Computer Programming.

Internship duration?

• This Internship will be mainly at IIRS Campus with a minimum duration of 3 months and a maximum duration of 1 year for the eligible candidate.
• Eligible students of postgraduate and undergraduate who wish to undertake summer training or internship for six weeks to eight weeks. They can also apply for this. Those interested applicants can also apply for this, but only if they belong to ISRO or DOS employees or are associated with trained institutes like IIT, IISc like IIST, NIT, IIIT, SPA, ISM, etc. will be eligible for ISRO Summer Internship 2022

Selection Process

The final stage of the selection of candidates depends on the approval of the management team of the ISRO Summer Internship. Selected students will be notified by email or post. All the candidates selected and joining IIRS will be treated as external students. The candidates selected by IIRS will be final, and IIRS will not answer any further queries regarding them. IIRS will decide how many students from outside the university can come to do research or get summer training in a given year.
