RuPay ON-THE-GO Designathon 2022 Guidelines

Individual registration is a must for those who wish to participate.

• The file should be in PPT format and should not exceed approximately 10 MB in size. If you have a large number of files, you can upload a ZIP file containing them all, or a PDF.
• Naming Convention: (Full Name) RuPay OTG
• You can submit only one design per participant per form factor.
• You are free to use software, pens, pencils, colored pencils, paints, and other materials to create designs for this participant.
• At RuPay On-the-Go, a jury will review all submitted designs and a shortlist will be selected based on their findings. In which the decision of the jury is going to be the final decision.
• Platforms like RuPay and NPCI, LinkedIn, and Twitter are being used to announce winners and for special mentions.
• The winners will be informed separately regarding the distribution of prizes. This will happen within 1 month of the announcement.

RuPay On-the-Go Designthon 2022 Eligibility Criteria

College students from all campuses in India will be eligible to participate. This is going to be started in two phases. Which is like this.

Competition Structure:

First Round of Competition Structure: Form Factor and Design Submission

1. Those who have registered in it will have to first select a form factor. Create a revolutionary design for a ring, keychain, or any other form the participant deems appropriate for the goal in step two.
2. You can access the railing of the design from here.
3. Registered participants must submit a PowerPoint presentation.
4. The proposal should explain why a particular form factor is appropriate for the payment instrument, how it will benefit the customer, and the underlying motivation for the participant’s form factor design in a concise manner.
5. The entry deadline is October 10, 2022, at 12:00 IST.

Final Presentation in Round 2 Round:

1. Based on their initial submissions and designs, the top ten candidates will continue to develop their proposed designs with comments and technical instruction from RuPay employees.
2. The last date for submission of submissions is October 27, 2022, at 12:00 PM.
3. The participant must then submit the form factor and design to the jury, which will make the final decision.
4. To complement the presentation, a demonstration of your prototype that demonstrates its form factor, design, and how it supports the RuPay ON-The-GO offer is used.
5. Participants will be judged by a panel of business professionals on the basis of their uniqueness of concept, customer convenience, usability, and scalability.
